Shoes
My little two year old son was given a job to do the other day. We try think of very simple things that he can easily do so he can feel that he is helping the family. All of the other children were helping pick up in the living room after the school day was over. My husband told my son to pick up the shoes and put them by the door. There were probably four shoes scatter about in the living room. What my husband meant was that the shoes were to be placed on the brown rug by the door. Our little son picked up every shoe that was already on the rug and moved them to the door, just as my husband has said. Birk, had to laugh at the way a two year old mind works. He told Wyatt "good job, son" then Birk fixed the shoes.
