They did not die

This spring we had some very cold weather that I thought would kill my bleeding hearts. There was a pile of frozen foliage where the plant was making it's annual debut. As you can see it came back and is almost in its full glory. The kids just love this plant and wait for it to bloom every year. I guess that I am having a flower day.

I'm glad your Bleeding Heart survived the cold freezing snow. I had one a few years ago but it only came back 3 years and then disapeared. My Mom, Grandma has had 2 big beautiful plants for over 20 years now and they still bloom every year.
