Water drops

My mouth is giving me grief today. The pain medication is not helping as well as it should so the oral surgeon told me to use extra strength Tylenol and ibuprofen. So, while I am waiting for the ibuprofen to kick in I need some silence. Of course I choose to blog. Yesterday we had a very light rain shower and the drops of rain held onto the plants for hours. I took these shots just after I put the kids to bed. I think that "the rooster" thinks I am a little nuts. But didn't the pictures turn out nice. Right now we are getting a real down pour. I guess that I will be dealing with the mud a while longer. Every pair of my children's shoes are covered in mud.

Oh that looks so refreshing!

We haven't had rain for over a month and it's been in the high 80s and 90s. Enjoy the rain for me :)

I hope you start to feel better soon.

I hope your mouth will soon feel better. I have been thinking about you in your pain. Soon it should be healed.
I love the rain drops. It's always so amazing how they form such round clear drops just like the leaves and petals are waxed. As I look at those pictures I can almost smell the fresh rain. God sure blesses us with His beauty and nurishing rain.

All of the flowers in the photos are vinca flowers. They do very well in the front of my house and can stand the heat of Aug. in NE.
